Madara by Noro

$35.50
Weight:
100 Grams

A clever twist of wool, alpaca, and silk provide a sturdy base with a touch of luxury to this vibrantly coloured aran/heavy-worsted yarn. Madara means "speckled" in Japanese; a process of double dyeing allows the base colour to peek through, resulting in a tasteful tweed.

Madara is a medium to bulky weight that knits up knits up with rustic vibe. Heavily twisted, it has a soft, luxurious hand thanks to the addition of silk and alpaca to a wool base. It is available in semi-solids featuring nubby flecks which provide interesting pops of contrasting colour throughout this yarn thus living up to its name.
