WINDSWEPT is a collection of attractive Fair Isle and cable knitting patterns by Rowan Head Designer Marie Wallin. Knitters familiar with the beautiful Rowan knitting magazines will recognize the pattern layouts and styling--there are full-colour photos, schematic drawaings with garment measurements, and charts for the Aran cable and Fair Isle designs.
The patterns are written for Rowan Felted or Fine Tweed (US 3 needles), Rowan Cocoon (US 10 needles), or Rowan Felted Tweed Aran (US 7 & 8 needles).

THYME WRAP (a large, rectangular Aran cabled wrap, Cocoon);
LOVAGE (a long-sleeved pullover with yoke of Fair Isle patterned bands ending at waist, Fine Tweed);
CAMOMILE TAM (a Fair Isle tam for an average head, Felted Tweed);
OAK SCARF (a large rectangular scarf with Fair Isle patterned bands in two colors, Felted Tweed); DILL (a cable-sleeved pullover with leaf-motif neckline edging, Cocoon);
COMFREY (a shawl-pin closure cardigan with complex Aran cables, Cocoon);
SAGE (a long-sleeved tunic with patterned Fair Isle bands, Felted Tweed);
LEAF WAISTCOAT (a long, v-necked, button-front vest, houndstooth-patterned bands, Felted Tweed);
PARSLEY (a long-sleeved cardigan with alternating bands of Fair Isle flowers and plaid patterning, Fine Tweed);
ROSEMARY (a knitted and crocheted cardigan incorporating crocheted Granny square panels, Felted Tweed);
WILLOW (a generously proportioned short-sleeved tunic, Felted Tweed Aran); and
MINT WRAP (a large, rectangular wrap with allover Fair Isle patterning in bands of changed colors, Felted Tweed).
