Alpaca Lace is a delicate and hard wearing yarn made from pure alpaca wool. It is spun in Peru from 100% baby alpaca fleece which makes it unbelievably luxurious and amazingly soft. Because the soft and delicate fibres come from the first shearing of the baby animals, it is incredibly light and perfect for lace work.
This 2 ply yarn is soft, fine and light, and does not pill. It comes in various natural shades as well as a stunning range of colours. It is ideal for delicate lacy light tops, scarves, shawls and even baby clothes. It has excellent heat regulating properties and is extremely soft on the skin. Because alpaca contains very little lanolin, it is perfect for people with the most sensitive skin.

Care: We recommend washing your knitwear made of Alpaca Lace by hand in lukewarm water with a mild wool detergent. Dry flat, preferably on a terry towel, to avoid stretching. Under no circumstances should you dry it directly on a heat source or in the blazing sun!
