Como Classic is our first worsted weight woollen spun yarn created from Disdero Ranch fibre and remains an all-round favourite. Composed of 70% Corriedale wool and 30% of our homegrown Mohair (Angora goats), Como Classic is stable and lofty. It finishes with a short halo and a lovely bloom.
This yarn is of medium softness that can be worn against the skin by some and used to create indoor/outdoor cardigans and pullovers as well as medium-weight knitted, crocheted, and woven garments and accessories. Our Como Classic is naturally uneven in colour. If you wish to avoid a patched effect in your large projects, we suggest alternating hanks as you work.
